Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, says the team will go all out for a win in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double- header against Libya, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Gernot Rohr’s men will host the Mediterranean Knights at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, with the reverse fixture to take place on Tuesday in Sfax, Tunisia.
The three-time African champions occupy third position in Group E with three points from their opening two games.
Libya sit at the top of the group with four points, same as the Bafana Bafana of South Africa who have an inferior goal difference.
Onyekuru, who is on loan at Turkish club, Galatasaray from English Premier League side, Everton assures that the Super Eagles are ready to give their best in both games.
“We know what the coach wants from us which is to give our very best against Libya. That is exactly what we intend to do in both games,” the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles quotes Onyekuru on Friday.
“We will work very hard to win and make our nation proud.”
