It was not so long ago that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s daughter, Carissa Sharon and her boo, Philip Frimpong tied the knot in one elegant wedding full of extraordinary sweetness.
There was fireworks romance, family and friends, radiance, good vibes and a colourful splash of every great thing that typifies a lovely Nigerian wedding. There was even a surprise, with Benny Hinn coming around to be the officiating minister who joined the couple.
But the Bride’s mum was not there and regardless of how blissful and nice the big day must have been for her, it must have also felt some type of way. Reports claim that the bride’s mum could not have made it there for her daughter because she was banned from attending.

To make up for her mum’s absence, Carissa and Phillip have reportedly taken the wedding party to UK so as to have the bride’s mum in their wedding story.
“Did you know that Pastor Chris’ daughter had a second wedding? The first was for her dad and the second for her mum,” reads a statement on Pulse Ghana.
The date of the ceremony is uncertain but on her Instagram page, Carissa shares some pictures on October 22, 2018 which look to be from a wedding reception. She disabled comments to those posts.
At that second wedding ceremony between Carissa and Phillip, it was Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s absence that is noticeable. He and Pastor Anita’s divorce was finalised in February 2016 with the bride’s mum releasing a statement on her official Facebook page later in August 2016 to say there was no going back.
