Police authorities have launched a manhunt for a group of men who robbed a jewellery shop on Monday, 15 October 2018, after disguising as officers.
Information at police disposal revealed that two men who were wearing police uniform (in photos), entered the shop in Nelspruit, South Africa and approached a security guard who was on duty.
The guard became suspicious about the duo and suddenly, a group of armed men emerged and held the staff at gunpoint. They then robbed the store of jewellery and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene in a white Ford Ranger (in photo) with registration number HTC 429 MP.
No arrests have been made as yet, however, police have opened a case of business robbery and impersonation of a police officer.
