The Old Lady travel to take on Udinese following their Champions League exploits, while Napoli host Sassuolo
The eighth round of action in Italy’s Serie A is set to get underway this coming weekend, with reigning league champions Juventus looking to maintain their perfect start to the campaign away to Udinese. Their nearest rivals, Napoli, will welcome Sassuolo in what could be the tie of the round – Sassuolo sit just two points behind their opponents and could move above them with a win.

Where should I be investing my money?
First up, on the Friday night (5 October) Torino host Frosinone with the visitors still looking for their first win of the season. The last time these two met on Torino’s home soil they ran out comfortable 4-2 winners, and it is difficult to envisage anything other than a similar outcome here.
Frosinone have just a single point to their name and the worst defensive record in the league. They have leaked 18 goals at w worrying rate of 2.56 goals per game, while scoring a solitary goal themselves.
And unsurprisingly, it is Torino who come in as clear favourites to take all three points in this clash. You can back the home side to win their third league match of the campaign at a price of just 1.30, with Frosinone all the way out at 12.00 to take the points – a draw is priced in the middle at 4.75, according to Oddsshark.
This should be a relative stroll for the home side. You can back a 3-0 win for Torino at 8.00, while you could almost double your money by backing them to win to nil (without Frosinone scoring a goal) at a price of 1.95.
Udinese try to stop Juventus force
On the Saturday, Udinese will become the latest side to try and stop Juventus in their tracks. The home side have scored in their last four games but have lost their last two, and sit in 14th place with just eight points on the board.
Juventus, by way of comparison, have a 100 per cent record and sit six points clear at the top of the table. They thrashed Young Boys of Switzerland 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League in midweek, and have scored at least two goals in every league encounter so far this season.
It will therefore be of very little surprise that Juventus are the red hot favourites to make it eight wins from eight, while Udinese are out at 8.00 to pick up their first victory in three attempts. A draw is priced in the middle at 4.75.
And while this may well be a closely fought affair, Juventus should still come out on top. A 2-1 win for the Old Lady is priced at 8.50, while you could also more than double your money by backing both teams to score at 2.05.
Napoli must win to keep title hopes alive
And finally, Napoli must bounce back from defeat last time out when they host Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon. Carlo Ancelotti’s side has won their last three home games in a row, but came undone last time out away to Juventus, losing 3-1.
Sassuolo meanwhile have arguably been the surprise package of the Serie A season so far and sit in fifth place with 13 points. However, last time out they were thrashed 4-1 by AC Milan and they will certainly need to keep things tighter at the back if they expect to keep Napoli at bay for 90 minutes.
Given their excellent recent home form, Napoli come in as the favourites to make it four wins on the bounce in front of their own fans, at a price of just 1.33. Sassuolo, who won their last match on the road at Spal, are at 8.50 to repeat the trick in Naples, with a draw priced in the middle at 5.00.
We are expecting goals, entertainment and a Napoli win. A 3-1 victory for the home side comes in at 10.00, offering a ten-fold return on any investment, while you could almost triple your money by backing Napoli to win both halves at a price of 2.75.
