Report has it that Honourable Romanus Ugochukwu Obi, member representing Orumba North Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, was allegedly manhandled by political thugs during the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,primary election in Orumba area.
It was gathered that trouble started after five out of the six federal house of representatives aspirants united and openly rejected the supposed delegate’s list for yesterday’s primaries.
Hon Obi Ugochukwu Romanus, asserted that the doctored list was smuggled in by a market leader l, Ezenwankwo Okwudili who doubles as as aspirant in the primaries too.
Following the tension at the primaries, thugs overtook the local government secretariat at Ajali and allegedly descended on the lawmaker in the process.
