Simon Savours ‘Fantastic Eagles’ Win’ Vs Libya

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has celebrated the team’s 4-O win against Libya in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Odion Ighalo bagged a hat-trick for the Super Eagles in the game with Bordeaux of France winger, Samuel Kalu scoring the other goal.

The win ensured the Super Eagles moved from third to second position in the Group E following two wins and a defeat from three games.

South Africa jumped to the top position in the group after thrashing Seychelles 6-0 in the other group’s game earlier on Saturday.

The Super Eagles will face the Mediterranean Knights in the reverse fixture on Tuesday in Sfax, Tunisia.

Simon who has been plagued by injury in recent months was an used substitute in the game.
