Watford’s Isaac Success is eager to have a prolonged impact on the Watford starting XI after scoring in Saturday’s 3-0 defeat of Huddersfield Town.

Success has started Watford’s last two games – churning out impressive displays in both games and will be hopeful of maintaining his place in the first XI against Newcastle United on Saturday.

The 22 years old Nigerian international was also delighted to be back on the scoresheet in the English Premier League after 28 months and making an impact for the Hornets.

“I am so happy because I struggled last season and I have come back to the team and been given a few opportunities by the coach,” Success told the club website.

“I am trying to get in the team, give my best and make sure the team gets positive results when I am on the pitch. I will just keep working hard and concentrating on the next game.”

“It was a bit difficult for me at the start of the season and I had to be on the bench. Now I have my chance it is time for me to give everything for the team. For the rest of the season, I will just keep pushing.”

“It is exciting to see what we do in training sessions happen in the game. I am happy about it.”

“I think the players are focused to remember tactics from the training ground and apply them in the game. We will just keep working and hopefully, we can get more wins in the season.”
