Udinese defender , William Troost-Ekong, has hailed the team’s fighting spirit after they twice fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against Genoa in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.

Romulo Caldeira put the hosts ahead in the 32nd minute, while Kevin Lasagna levelled scores for Udinese in the 65th minute.

The home team regained the lead two minutes later through Cristian Romero with Rodrigo de Paul equalising for the visitors for the second time in the 70th minute.

Troost-Ekong took to Twitter to express his joy and thank the fans for their support.

Troost-Ekong has featured in all 10 league games for Udinese this season following his summer arrival at the club.
Udinese occupy 16th position in the Serie A table with nine points from 10 games.
