The curtain has been drawn on the Yagazie Foundation coaching clinic and scouting exercise with hundreds of Nigerian coaches and aspiring young footballers benefiting from the week-long programme in Lagos.

The five invited FIFA Licensed coaches – Rene Lindharth, Allan Jensen and Erling Thomsen from Denmark alongside coaches Chris Chapman and Taylor Pitts from USA , all took charge of the final day screening exercise at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium Friday after the coaching clinic had ended earlier in the week.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, CEO of Yagazie Foundation, Chinedu Kennedy Ezirim expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the programme.

“It has been a very successful exercise judging by the massive turnout of coaches and young footballers for the programme. We were excited at the enthusiasm of all the participants,” Ezirim remarked.

“The coaches gained added technical knowledge of the game during the coaching clinic, while some young and talented youngsters with potentials were spotted during the screening exercise.
