The runway show of the Lagos fashion week 2018 was fired up with makeup looks we’ll be adapting into trends because why not! This year, Maybelline New York was the official make-up sponsor of the event and they were spot on with the looks they created.

Besides the exhibitions from the various designers, showing off their beautiful collections, another thing we looked out for? The runway makeup looks.
This year we were really excited to see what the brand’s artistic director, Bimpe Onakoya would come up with. And we loved what we saw on the models that walked the stage yesterday! There seemed to be a theme around earthy and nude tones.
We saw models wearing their lips nude with almost bare eyes, highlighted with gold at the tear duct.
And then there were others with bold and glossy shades of red on their lips, feathered eyebrows and natural looking dewy skin. All in all, the make-up looks were simple.
We loved how beautifully the makeup complemented all the outfits showcased.
