Moses Benched Again As Chelsea Edge Crystal Palace At Home

Former Nigeria international , Victor Moses, was once again overlooked by Chelsea boss, Mauricio Sarri in the Blues 3-1 win against Crystal Palace at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.

 

 

Moses who has found game time limited under the Italian has made two Premier League appearances for the West London club this season, both as a substitute.

Chelsea moved to second position in the table following the win, two adrift of leaders Manchester City who defeated Southampton 6-1 earlier in the day.

 

 

Alvaro Morata put Chelsea ahead with a neat finish from close range two minutes before the half hour mark.

 

 

The Blues failed to add to their advantage despite dominating the game for long spell and they were pegged by a fine strike by Andros Townsend in the 53rd minute.

 

 

The winger played a neat one-two with James McArthur before firing the ball into the net.

 

 

The hosts regained the lead in the 65th minute with Morata adding his second goal of the game.

 

 

The Spaniard struck the ball home following substitute Eden Hazard free-kick.
