Hearts are still heavy and eyes still puffy from all the tears shed for OAP, Tosyn Bucknor who passed away in the early hours of Monday, November 21, 2018.
She died from sickle cell complications, aged 37.
Her passing feels so sad and overwhelmingly heartbreaking, especially for the full, rich, full of happy vibes and easy smiles she was known for. And if there was ever a time to see this in full, it was at her 2015 wedding with her French husband, Aurélien Boyer.
And that’s why we are reminiscing on that special occasion; one of the most special days in the Area Mama’s beautiful life.

Traditional Wedding
After two years of dating, Tosyn and Aurélien, surrounded by family and friends decided to tie the knot in a three-part wedding celebration hashtagged YoruFrench2015.
In typical Nigerian wedding fashion, they began with a lovely traditional wedding in Lagos on November 15, 2015.
White Wedding
This held on the same day as the traditional wedding. Both ceremonies happened on that unforgettable Sunday in 2015, with the right ambiance, a happy crowdof family, friends, well wishers and two beautiful people brimming with love for each other.
The Paris-themed wedding reception held at the Landmark event centre, and as expected, it was planned by Tosyn’s sister, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe of Zapphaire Events, who actually disclosed the cause of her sister’s demise after her passing away.

Destination Wedding
Five months after having a lavish traditional and white wedding in Nigeria, newlyweds Tosyn Bucknor and Aurélien Boyer, took their wedding party to the French Island of Corsica for a picturesque, intimate ceremony in the city where they got engaged.
Aurélien had popped the big question in August 2015 when the couple were vacationing in the quaint city.
