A driver and his passengers narrowly escaped death in the early hours of Saturday when the car somersaulted multiple times and fell into a canal.
The accident occurred about 5:30am along Azikiwe road near Civil Defence Headquarters, Umuahia, Abia state capital.
It was gathered according to online reports that the driver lost control of the car which led crash.
No one reportedly died in the accident as the injured car occupants were taken to the hospital. .
