How it’s done:

1. Divide your hair into sections where you can have tiny and chunky cornrows. Then, weave the tiny sections down first.

2. To weave the chunky cornrow, you can either choose to section it as you weave as demonstrated in the video or weave normally. As you weave, apply hair gel to make sure the weaving is sleek and neat.

3. When you’re done weaving, pass the golden thread through 2 or more cornrows using the crochet needle. Ensure you take this all the way to the end. Towards the end, wrap the ends of the braids with gold stitching as you see fit.

4. Create the bun by wrapping the ends of the braids in a circular motion, ending with the braids with gold thread.

5. Stitch the bun in place with the needle and black thread.

6. Apply some hair mousse to the front of the hair and tie down for a few minutes. Use the hair dryer to dry the mousse and then you can remove the scarf. To finish off the look, use some more gel to style your edges as you like.
