It is no news that the new year always ushers in new trends; new year, new traditions! While this might be a good thing, there are some trends we don’t want to let go of just yet. These are the ones we hope will still be hot in 2019!
Monochrome Outfits

Colour block sure rules the code worldwide but the monochrome colour scheme has managed to capture the hearts of fashion enthusiasts. The one-tone trend even got a colourful update during the year. We are so down for the modification and we hope the trend is here for a while!

Extroverts and maximalists were really represented in fashion this year as elaborate and high shine sequins were in all year long. This major trend from the 70s was refined to suit modern day style. We hope it makes a feature again in 2019!

Low-heeled Shoes
When it comes to shoes, low block heels, slingbacks and mules with kitten heels definitely ruled the fashion pack. A major thing we loved (still love) about this trend is that fashion and comfort came to a very beneficial pact. A freaking double score!

From wooden bags to bucket bags, mini totes and buckle bags, everyone couldn’t get enough of the cute trend. Designers like Jacquemus, Danse Lente, Cult Gaia took advantage with products that bloggers, influencers and the ‘IT’ fashion crowd couldn’t wait to get their hands on!

Florals have been around since forever but they finally got an overdue luxe update which we will love to enter the new year with. From Gucci’s wild floral patterns to ditsy florals, there’s definitely something for everyone!
