The Nigerian army has recorded yet another success in the fight against Boko Haram insurgents.
At about 9.30 a.m today 30 January 2019, troops of 192 Battalion Gwoza – Borno State in conjunction with members of Civilian Joint Task Force on a fighting patrol along Gwoza -Yemteke Road came in contact with unspecified number of Boko Haram terrorists.
The gallant troops engaged the terrorists in a gun battle neutralizing 4 of them whilst others fled with gunshot wounds.
Items recovered include 2 AK 47 Rifles and 2 magazines.
