Cassie Ventura is working on a new tell-all album about the breakdown of her relationship with Diddy. The singer, whose stage name is simply Cassie, dated the Bad Boy Records music mogul between 2007 and 2018. In October 2018, it was announced that the pair called quits on their 11-year relationship and now Cassie is ready to spill some piping hot tea in a new album – her first in 13 years. The Empire actress rose to fame with her 2006 self-titled album and her break out single Me & U under Diddy’s record label – but has failed to release a sophomore album since.
A source told Metro.co.uk: ‘Cassie was once in the same lane as Rihanna and Ciara but gave it up to be with Diddy. ‘She’s ready to step out of his shadows and return to music with a major comeback this year,’ the insider added.
