A single mum who became an escort to pay off a debt has managed to earn £20k in five years – but never has sex with her clients. Michelle Smith, 33, said she decided to go into the escorting to cope with a £25,000 credit card debt .
The administration assistant also collects lavish gifts and cash valued at around £2,500 a month.
Most of the expensive presents are given to her on dates with men, whose ages range from 18 to 75-years-old.
But the mum from East London insists that she doesn’t have sex with them.
She told Sun Online about how she was inspired into escorting while she worked in an office on minimum wage.
She was talking to a friend about her money woes who encouraged her to pay it off by working as an escort.
“I wasn’t sure at first, but when my mate explained I’d get good money and wouldn’t need to have sex with anybody, I went for it – I had no close family to help me out and I was desperate,” she said.
Michelle was advised to start advertising via a social media site called Faceparty. Here, she uploaded pictures and explained she was available for dates. Clients began to flood in from various backgrounds – including one woman.
She added: “Clients don’t pay me for my time – but, if they want to, they give me gift. Most people give me between £150 and £250 a night, but that’s their choice – and it means I don’t have to pay tax as I’m not really charging for my services.”
The mum has received everything from jewellery and clothes to champagne.
One man in his mid-seventies even asked Michelle to simply sit with him and have a chat over some fish and chips – gifting her hundreds of pounds in return.
Others have handed over £1,000 worth of diamonds, an £800 dress and treated her to food at Michelin-starred restaurants.
Michelle claims that businessmen say women at work will try to seduce them and fall pregnant so that they prefer to have a woman as their plus one at events to scare them off.
Michelle claims that many of her clients have fallen in love with her and she has been asked to move to Dubai by one client in her own flat – but she turned him down.
