Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo returned back to Nigeria yesterday, after travelling to the United States of America, few weeks back.
The treasurer of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos state chapter, was stabbed in a violent clash between union workers at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Ikeja on January 8.
He traveled to the US where he is a citizen for more medical examination and also to rest.
A special prayers was held for him earlier today at his residence in Ejigbo after it was earlier slated to hold at Jalisco Mini stadium in Oshodi, Lagos. The event caused a total knockdown of the area with supporters trooping in their numbers.
The NURTW who is reportedly eyeing the NURTW state chairman position, said the union is not for thugs but for great and loyal people.
He reportedly said that people can say whatever they want about him but God knows he has not done bad thing to anyone and always help people who come across his way.
