A family war has escalated into serious panic in Ozubulu area of Anambra state. It was gathered that some security men of OVS (Ozubulu vigilante service) allegedly killed a man following a family problem.
According to the reports, two brothers were having a misunderstanding yesterday, they were later reconciled by their kinsmen.
Then by 2 am, the vigilante operatives landed at the compound of the deceased who was a student in the Nigerian army school in the Kaduna but just returned home for a visit.
It was gathered that the OVS was called into the family dispute and one of them allegedly shot the victim three times and reportedly died on his way to the hospital.
The angry youths set the security vehicles on fire at the office of the OVS. The houses of some of the members of the OVS were also on fire.
Report has it that policemen have arrived the area to control the growing tension.
