A popular Chinese drinks company has been slammed for claiming its coconut milk will make a woman’s breasts bigger.

Coconut Palm’s adverts claim that drinking one of their beverages a day will “make your breasts fuller”.

The TV promos include footage of busty women frolicking in the sea while holding cans of the drink.

The company, which is based on the island of Hainan, has been criticised by viewers, with some even refusing to believe the adverts are real.

Other slogans Coconut Palm have used include “drink one can every day, [your] curves will excite people, whiter and more plump” and “genuine Coconut Palm coconut juice, I drank from small to big”.

The adverts have been mocked by Chinese viewers on Weibo, the country’s equivalent of Twitter, according to the South China Morning Post.

One user said: “When I first saw the advert, I thought some netizen had just Photoshopped it. “It’s only now that I realised it was actually true and not someone joking around.”

Coconut Palm made the same claim in 2017 and used adverts featuring large-chested women to promote its new papaya juice.

These ads included the slogan “when I’m full of papaya I’m ample-chested”.
