Roma starlet Nicolo Zaniolo has asked his mum Francesca Costa to rein herself in on social media following one too many sultry posts.
Costa has more than 173,000 on Instagram but following a string of racy posts she has been reminded of her age by her son.
Zaniolo’s burgeoning reputation on the field grew further on Tuesday when he scored both of Roma’s goals in a 2-1 Champions League win over Porto.
Since joining Roma from Inter Milan last summer, the 19-year-old has scored five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions and has been tipped to earn a call-up to Roberto Mancini’s senior Italy squad.
And as Zaniolo begins to enjoy a higher profile, the Italy Under-21 international has urged Costa, 41, to keep a lower one online.
According to Corriere dello Sport, on a recent picture posted by Costa, Zaniolo commented: “Stop mum.
Zaniolo was used as a makeweight in the deal that took Radja Nainggolan to Inter and he has been a success in Rome.
The 19-year-old has scored four goals in his last six games and that form has drawn parallels with Roma legend Francisco Totti.
