Juventus winger Douglas Costa somehow escaped unscathed after being involved in a car crash in Italy.

The Brazilian maestro – a £54million target for Manchester United – was miraculously left uninjured following the incident.
According to Corriere Torino, the collision happened between Livorno Ferraris and Santhia in the province of Vercelli, on the Turin-Milan motorway.
Costa was travelling in a Jeep Cherokee when the vehicle crashed into a Fiat Punto.

The 47-year-old driver of the Fiat was transported to Biella Hospital after suffering injuries, though the severity of his condition has not been revealed.

It is unclear how the crash started, with the accident being investigated by the Novara Est traffic police.
