Lionel Messi was beaming alongside stunning wife Antonella Roccuzzo as he attended a red-carpet premier for a film about himself.
The Barcelona legend revealed in October 2018 that he had teamed up with the world’s most famous Cirque du Soleil to produce a show about his life.
Back in October the Barcelona star released a promotional video for the show on his social media pages with the caption: “The GAME is about to CHANGE… @messicirque is coming soon!”
In the video, highlights from Messi’s career could be seen intertwined with clips of Cirque du Soleil performances and the words “the game is about to change very soon” appear on the screen.
And now in the Spanish city where he plies his trade, Messi and his wife were joined by team-mate Luis Suarez and his other half Sofia Balba for the special photocall.
Speaking about the special film, Messi said: “It seems incredible and crazy to me that a show based on my life, my passion, my sport has been created.
“Cirque du Soleil is one of our family’s favourite shows. I have no doubt this show will surprise people as they always do.”
