According to reports, a married male teacher and his pupil are currently battling for their lives in a hospital after they were stabbed by an unknown man who allegedly found them having sex in the girl’s house.
North-Western Province Commissioner of Police, Hudson Namachila said in a statement yesterday that the incident happened in Maseka village, Chavuma area of Zambia on Friday.
The unidentified assailant is said to have rebuked the married teacher for sleeping with his pupil before stabbing them both. Police believe the assailant must be a pupil at the same school who was not happy with what the teacher was doing.
Mr Namachila said when police visited the scene, they found the female victim, who is a grade 12 pupil at Moses Luneta Day Secondary School, stabbed on her right thigh and left knee. She was having sex with a married man who is her teacher. The man was equally badly stabbed.
The two are in critical condition admitted at Chavuma Hospital.
