According to reports, Wayne Rooney’s wife, Coleen has forgiven him over an intimate Valentine’s Day meal. The wag, 32, has put her £200,000 wedding ring back on and is willing to move on.
She wants Wayne, 33, to mend his ways after his latest drunken indiscretions sparked another crisis in their 11-year marriage.
Her U-turn will shock pals after she told them he would have to work for forgiveness before getting back to family life in Washington.
A source said: “They had a nice Valentine’s Day evening together.
“Coleen’s calmed down and she wants to move on and get their family life back on track.
“It’s partly for the sake of her sons but also she feels they’ve been through too much together for her to walk away now and she loves him.”
It comes after the ex-England star partied with a barmaid on a ten-hour bender in Florida last weekend. He was also arrested for public intoxication in December.
She plans to take a holiday with sons Kai, nine, Klay, five, Kit, three, and Cass, one, while Wayne throws himself back into training with Washington side DC United.
