Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks set to welcome back a number of stars into the Manchester United team to face Arsenal today.
The caretaker manager was forced to take a slightly makeshift team to Paris for United’s stunning win over PSG on Wednesday – but several of that side are likely to return to the bench this afternoon.
Anthony Martial looks likely to return to the team after missing five matches with a groin strain, while Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic could both start.
With Paul Pogba also available again after suspension, United’s midfield could have a more familiar look than in recent matches as they continue their push for the top four.
Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira and Fred all put in strong performances, though, and could feature again – and there’s an argument that Solskjaer shouldn’t break up a team that will be on a high after that dramatic win.
Meanwhile, Arsenal Coach Unai Emery could bench both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil for Arsenal’s crunch clash against Manchester United at the Emirates.
The Gunners know a win against the Red Devils will lift them back into the top four at the expense of United and boost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
