A woman who had sex with a 14-year-old boy after a boozy birthday party has been cleared after claiming she believed the boy was over 18. Kimberly Abell necked half a bottle of vodka, half a bottle of Disaronno and shots before asking the schoolboy: “Aren’t you going to f**k me?”
The 33-year-old then sat on top of the boy at the end of the party and they had sex on the sofa before she performed a sex act on him the next morning.
Abell admitted having sleeping with the boy at the party in July 2016 but claimed she believed he was over 18.
She has now been found not guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a child following a trial at Warwick Crown Court.
Jurors heard how Abell seduced the schoolboy in front of his friend after she got drunk at a teenager’s birthday party.
After the bash ended, she was left with the teenager and his pal as they watched TV in the living room.
Abell got under a blanket with him and “touched him sexually” when his friend left the room.
The pair romped on the sofa after Abell asked him if we would “f**k” her.
Afterwards, the boy went upstairs but “at her instigation”, there was further sexual activity when he returned to Abell the next morning.
The boy later told his mum what happened after Abell sent him sexual text messages and she was arrested.
