This is coming a few weeks after Lagos state government banned Okadas and Tricycles in the state. Now, Kwara state government have said they will soon start taxing Okada riders.
The commissioners for works said they will also start wearing uniforms, that this will help beef up security in the state and get rid of miscreants.
They also intend to introduce identity cards with bar codes for riders and also check the influx of illegal riders in the state.
