The 5 pranksters of Abuja resident have been arrested after they went to Wuse General Hospital with false claims of having Coronavirus.Peggy Shandi, Priscilla AJesola (The only female), Abayomi Adedoyin, David Gold Enemigin, and Jacob Oji were paraded before newsmen.They claimed to be playing out a script about the virus without authorization of FCTA.
They went to the hospital claiming one of them had been infected with the Coronavirus, which led to panic and confusion in the premises.
It was such a foolish thing to do at a sensitive time like this. There are more than 14,300 confirmed cases around the world, and 305 people have died. All but one of the deaths have been in mainland China. Within China, almost 60 million people remain on effective lockdown as the country battles to contain the virus amid reports its health system is on its knees, running out of beds and supplies.
Investigation is still ongoing but Peggy Shandi said their action was merely a prank about the coronavirus. Do you believe them?
