Since the lockdown in Lagos and different states in Nigeria, some kind-hearted people have voluntarily made sacrifices for the needy.
A video that went viral earlier showed a Nigerian lady distributing food from the boot of her vehicle but some Nigerians started complaining about the quality of the food asking if this is what they would survive on if they stay at home. The disappointed lady closed her boot and drove off with her food.
A particular lady went on to show her food to the camera saying the food was small and also had kpomo (the hide of cow, which is a common delicacy amongst lagosians) and that she doesn’t eat kpomo, which eventually fell out while she was tossing the pack of food. See the video below:
I found the video! Some Nigerians are very despicable people. What sort of ungrateful and witchcraft behaviour is this? She is a private citizen and she decided to use her own funds to feed people on the streets pic.twitter.com/2nBY5YhG8l

What I find interesting is that none of the people complaining returned or threw the food away.
@xybox
They probably thought the food was from the government. I believe nobody in her right mind would say rubbish like that if they knew she spent her own money to provide the food. But again, people dey sha.
@solajohnson
So why would anyone assume that the food is from Government without confirming and even if it is from Government, where they expecting a buffet? There is no excuse for bad behavior and majority of our People are badly behaved.
@romelia
When did we become a people with so much bile!!! This is unfortunate! My mother always said “A GIFT IS A GIFT”, you never know what the person giving went through to GIVE, ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL! I weep for my people!
@dabridola
I noticed despite their complaints, none of them dropped the food packs. They all walked away with packs. In Nigeria, the entitlement mentality will kill us. They have killed this private initiative.
After the viral video, the lady went on to explain herself due to the backlash. See it below:

Is there any excuse of her behavior?
