There have been wild protests in the united states of America with the #Blacklivesmatter. The protest is as a result of countless African Americans that have died due to police assault and racism.

The deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and Sean Monterrosa have led thousands on the streets fighting that black lives matter and that the colour of your skin doesn’t make you bad.

George Floyd‘s death was what broke the camels back as it woke the pain and hurt black Americans have been bottling up inside. May 25, 2020, George Floyd, 46, died after he was arrested by a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, who knelt on Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed face down. George could be heard begging the police officers that he couldn’t breathe, but his words fell on deaf ears as minutes later, George was been rushed to the hospital and later confirmed dead. His autopsy result revealed that he died from asphyxiation. George left behind a 6-year-old daughter.

March 13, 2020 police officers broke into Breona Taylor‘s home looking for a man who was in police custody and she was shot eight times. No one has been charged with her murder after her unfortunate death. Breonna was only 26 years old.

On February 23, Arbery an unarmed 25-year old young man who was jogging was chased down by a police officer and shot dead.

Sean Monterrosa, a 22-year-old, unarmed African American was killed on Monday, June 1, 2020. His death is the latest of the killings.

The officers gave these ones no opportunity to defend themselves, their lives were cut short and we hope this time White Americans can have a rethink and make better choices in the future.

May God comfort the families of these ones lost, amen!
