The Standards Organisation of Nigeria has vowed to sanction manufacturers of hand sanitizers and liquid hand wash which failed to adhere to global best practices.
It also advised members of the public to use only certified hand sanitizers to avoid skin damage. The regulatory body said quality hand sanitizers are important in the fight against the lethal coronavirus pandemic, adding that it would “not tolerate any minus in standards.”
SON implored manufacturers to visit its offices to obtain the required standards for producing goods in the country.
