The 22-year-old Acounting student known as Abba Ahmed would have died because he couldn’t marry President Buhari’s daughter who wedded today.
In a report by Naijapledge.com, Abba Ahmed wanted to take his life because because he could not marry his love interest, Hanan Buhari, the daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Abba Ahmed had taken to his Facebook and Instagram to reveal plan on committing suicide he failed to marry Hanan Buhari.
Nigerian Tribune indicated that the PRO, Mr. Frank Mba, after learning what Abba was going to do prompted the Commissioner of Police for Kano State, Mr, Habu Sani, to invite the young man.
According to reports, Frank Mba had a phone conversation with Abba Ahmed for some time advising him not to make the move of wiping himself out the world due to mere infactuations.
Abba expressed regrets over his actions on social media which he reports revealed he deleted the suicide posts immediately after.
He said.
“I am impressed with the way Mr Frank Mba spoke to me. I also became very sober when the Commissioner of Police, Mr Habu Sani counselled me and urged me to desist from such thinking. The Chief Imam of the Police Command also admonished me.
I have denounced my earlier intention. I will no longer commit suicide. I will respect myself and wait for a woman I can call my own wife. I love my life now, and I want to live and fulfil my life ambition.”
