Ex-BBNaija season 5 housemate, Lucy Edet, has said that she will not live her life to impress anyone at the detriment of her own happiness.
She disclosed when she took to the insta story section of her Instagram page to speak against the pressure fans make their faves to go through just to meet up certain expectations.
According to Lucy, such expectations are part of the reason many people go into depression and die in the process.
She also hinted that it might get to a point that she’d be forced to quit social media.
She wrote… “You people are the reason people die of depression, because God forbid they show that they’re sad or unhappy or even angry, talk more of imperfect in pictures, you people will still talk and say a person should act a certain way in public etc, I am not going to live my life to impress people at the cost of my own happiness or mental health, e get as e go be, I’ll leave the social media for you people.”
