Meghan Markle has sparked speculation she and Prince Harry are expecting another baby after the Duchess won a postponement request for a major event.

The Duchess was scheduled to appear in court for her lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday in January 2021. But new reports claim Meghan has pushed for the trial to take place in the autumn next year.

The delay has led to royal fans speculating whether the Sussexes are expecting another baby next year. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, their first child, was born on May 9, 2019

Harper’s Bazaar reported that Meghan request a nine month delay in the legal proceedings against the Mail on Sunday.

The Duchess sued the outlet after a series of stories about her father and the publication of private letters in 2019.

The report claimed Meghan’s postponement request was granted after her legal team detailed why it was needed.

Bazaar.com claimed the delay request was based on “a confidential ground”, and a specific date for the new trial will come closer to the time.

But after the trial was pushed back, social media caught ablaze with speculation Meghan and Harry are expecting their second child.

One Twitter user said: “9 months, Megan must be pregnant and doesn’t want stress during the pregnancy. I betcha that’s the secret reason.”

More reaction came in, but suggesting the delay might just be a precaution against coronavirus.

One user said: “I think we’d know if Meghan was pregnant again. Harry would be in all the zoom calls.

Another added: “Considering the ongoing Covid pandemic this is probably a wise decision to put back on trial date until the Autumn.”
