Nigerians have called out Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State after he ordered the immediate release of N100 million for the renovation of Soun of Ogbomoso’s palace.
This is happening following the violence that erupted in Ogbomoso axis of the state, weekend, as a result of the ENDSARS protest, which led to the destruction of property of Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Ajagungbade’s palace
Governor Makinde in a series of tweet pledged to repair the palace with a N100 million.
We were also at the Palace of Kabiyesi, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, the Soun of Ogbomoso. We pledged the sum of N100 Million to begin immediate repairs of the palace and replacement of destroyed properties. pic.twitter.com/NuNXjgRbYT

This has caused outrage online and people are calling the governor to justify the amount he intends to spend for the work.
