Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, has warned those peddling fake news about her being invited by the police and arrested to stop peddling such news.
You will recall the news of the actress arrest went viral a few days ago after it was claimed that she was arrested after she apologized on her controversial dress that drew criticism from Northerners and Muslims.
Her outfit also allegedly caused blasphemy of the holy prophet and fans also commended the police for the alleged arrest and some peddled that she had been arrested as a result of the issue.
The actress shared this on her Twitter page advising those spreading the news to stop. She tweeted:
I have received many messages that I have been arrested and sentenced to jail earlier today. I have no idea where the news emanated from. I’m therefore calling on people to stop spreading FAKE and unfounded stories…
