A heartbreaking picture of the two-year-old little girl and her NHS worker mother found dead in a suspected murder-suicide have been released by police.
Tiny Ziana Bagoan snuggles up to Shiwangi Bagoan, 25, in the poignant image released after they were found dead in their Hounslow flat on Monday.
Ms Bagoan is understood to have worked as an anaesthetist’s assistant for the University College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Trust last night described the mother as a ‘highly valued member of our team’ who will be ‘missed by her colleagues.’
A statement added: ‘We are extremely saddened by the deaths of Shiwangi and her child. Our deepest condolences go to her family, friends and loved ones at this very difficult time.
‘As the police are currently investigating the circumstances around the deaths, it would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage.’
Ms Bagoan’s friend told MailOnline that the mother was a ‘lovely lady’ who ‘doted on little Zia’, with others saying she had bought bicycles for them both last week.
The friend added: ‘I only saw her last week and she seemed fine. Shiwangi lived with her mother and her daughter. She didn’t have a partner as far as I’m aware.
‘She doted on little Zia. She was a lovely lady, a good friend of mine and I’m just devastated. I cannot believe she would hurt Zia nor take her own life.’
‘Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
