The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported 1,303 new coronavirus infections in the country. The health agency disclosed this via its verified Twitter account on Tuesday night.

The centre also confirmed the nation recorded 15 deaths, bringing the current fatality toll to 1,522.
It added that the new infections were recorded from 25 States and the Federal Capital Territory, in the last 24 hours.
It disclosed that Lagos recorded the highest toll with 478 cases, followed by FCT, 211.
