A Nigerian man known as Femi Ogunrobi has said that certificates are good but people should not be slaves to them.
He said: “Certificate should be seen as a proof of knowledge gained in a discipline and not as a career dictator.
The society’s paradigm of what a certificate is really needs to change. Learning a skill after an undergraduate program shouldn’t be discouraged if your certificate doesn’t go inline with your passion or future plans.
Don’t limit yourself to thinking around what your certificate can only offer. The moment your certificate decide what/who you can be, you become a slave to your certificate.“ he said.
