A Nigerian woman has surprised many people with her academic success story. According to the lady named Abosede Alimi, she had bagged a scholarship to further her studies in 2019 worth N13.6 million at the Harvard Kennedy School after her admission.
Abosede, in a LinkedIn post, said the scholarship was a partial one and she need to complete it with $70,000. Her inability to raise the required amount meant she had to defer the admission.
Encouraged by her faith in God, Abosede said she reapplied with the intention of getting the scholarship howbeit in full this time around. She specifically mentioned that God had told her she would receive a mysterious scholarship that will make people marvel and her testify. She would eventually come in contact with a personality she described as ‘king’ who offered her a scholarship worth N33 million to study at Harvard.
The Christian lady post read in part: “I first got admitted into Harvard Kennedy School in 2019 and received a partial scholarship for $33,000. This meant I had to raise $70,000. Cut the long story short, I could not raise the money so I deferred my admission and lost that scholarship. “On March 16th, 2020, I finally got the email I had been waiting for but I went from $33,000 to $0 scholarship. I remembered that word from God so I read it over and over then went to bed. But not without reminding God whose reputation was now at stake.
“There is a reason why we are known as ‘believers’. Exactly 2 weeks later, on March 30th, I found myself before a King (…gift of a man makes room and brings you before Kings…) whom I was meeting for the 3rd time in my life but gave me audience, listened to my plea and offered me a full tuition scholarship of $80,000.”
