Kevin Clark, who played Freddy Jibes in the 2003 School of Rock movie with Jack Black, has died in a road accident in the United States.
The 32-year-old drummer was riding his bike when he was hit by a car in Chicago on Wednesday, police have confirmed in a statement.
School of Rock’s Jack Black said he was “heartbroken” by the news, while co-star Miranda Cosgrove also paid tribute to him.
Chicago Police said the cyclist was pronounced dead after being found partially under a car.
He was taken in a critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 20-year-old woman driving the car was issued “several citations”, but no further information has been released.
