The Children And I Miss You – Gospel Singer, Dunsin Oyekan Remembers Late Wife
On the 18th of May, 2019, Adedoyin Oyekan, the wife of music minister Dunsin Oyekan, passed on and 2 years after, the singer affirms that he and the children miss her.
Dunsin Oyekan and Adedoyin had been married six years before her demise. They had met in their department back in school and gotten married, blessed with two kids.
Dunsin, on their 5th wedding anniversary described his wife as his check and balance, and following her death as he shared his testimony during a worship session, he revealed God told him when he was in pain that if he focused on the pain, he won’t see the purpose of the transition.
As it clocks 2 years today that she left, Dunsin Oyekan took to Twitter to remember her. “2 years today. The children and I miss you but God has been so faithful. If we focus on the pain of transition we will miss it’s purpose. “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.””, he tweeted.
