Alex Ekubo-Okwaraeke (known as Alexx Ekubo) on April 10th, 1986 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria to Mazi Alex Ekubo Okwaraeke and Jane Ekubo-Okwaraeke of Ujari Village in Arochukwu, Abia State. He is a Nigerian actor and model.

Early Life
Born in Port Harcourt, Alexx spent much of his young life in Lagos, Kano and Katsina. He attended the Federal Government College Daura, Katsina State. Studied Law at the University of Calabar. He got a diploma in Mass Communication from Calabar Polytechnic. Bagged Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar. While he was young, his father, Mazi Alex, joined the British Petroleum and retired as National Retail Manager of Africa Petroleum Plc in 2002.

Career
Alexx broke into the Nigerian entertainment industry in 2005 and since has been featured in many blockbuster films. He made his film debut by playing the role of Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen in the 2005 Nigerian drama series Sinners in the House. His first major role was in the movie titled “Ladies Men” several years ago. He also starred as “Johnny the Lover boy” in Yemi Alade’s music video of her hit single titled “Johnny”. He has worked with prominent entertainment stars like Yvonne Nelson, Rukky Sanda, Yemi Alade, Monalisa Chinda and Uche jumbo to mention a few.
Relationship
Alexx was in a relationship with American model girlfriend Fancy Acholonu. He even travelled to Paris in 2017 to celebrate her birthday with her. The couple got engaged in May 2021 and family and friends looked forward to the big day of the event. Alex looked forward to Fancy being Mrs Ekubo too

Alexx Ekubo Awards
Alexx won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards for his role in the Nigerian romantic drama film, Weekend Getaway. He was first runner up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest. In 2015, he received the Nigerian Teen Choice Award for Celebrity Award – Outstanding TV Personality and in 2016, he won the Late Ambassador Segun Olusola NBMA for Actor of the Year.
