Twenty-two-year-old Veronika Troshina and her partner Mikhail Morozov, 26, are wanted by the police in Bali, Indonesia, for alleged public indecency offenses tied to their racy endeavors on the sacred mountain, according to Free World News.
The scene the couple filmed on the sacred mountain in Bali has been a run-away hit on PornHub, where it has been viewed more than 1.2 million times.
Troshina used her Twitter account last year to promote the controversial video on one of the most sacred Hindu spots on the island of Bali.
The clip, posted last year on the pornographic website PornHub, was watched by more than 1.2 million people before it was removed.
After the authorities got wind of the porn video shot on the sacred mountain, they began to seek the identities of the couple featured in the lewd scene and to determine if they were still in Indonesia.
If she is still on the island, and gets found by law enforcement, Troshina and her partner could face up to two years and eight months in prison for indecent behavior in public.
It’s thought she and her boyfriend have returned home to Rybinsk, 165 miles northeast of Moscow.
But local cops say they won’t give up the search. Bangli precinct chief I Gusti Agung Dhana Aryawan earlier said: “Our officer found the location, specifically along the hiking trail of Mount Batur, a bit above Pasar Agung Temple. “We are coordinating with immigration to find out whether or not the people concerned are still in Bali.”
The porn film has provoked a scandal on the island – although it’s understood the footage was actually shot and uploaded last year.
The sacred mountain is believed to be the home of Lord Brahma, who is often symbolised with a fire ring.
