Early Life
Yusuf Buhari was born on April 23, he is the only son of the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari. Buhari has eight surviving children, five of which were born in his second marriage and the rest were born by his first and now deceased wife Safinatu. The only son born by Safinatu, Musa, already passed away, too.
Education
Yusuf Buhari and his sister Zahra studied at the University of Surrey, UK. They both graduated 2016. Yusuf Buhari is different from his father, he has never served in the army. His father, the President of Nigeria, has once personally said that he was the one who stopped his son from joining the army.

He is not very active on social media. His Twitter shows only 116 tweets and the latest one was posted there almost a year ago. Of course, no wonder, Nigerians don’t really talk him that much till news about his accident broke and now his marriage.
Accident
The sad motorbike accident that happened in December 2017 has become another page in Yusuf Buhari biography. The entire nation found themselves glued to their TV sets and newspapers, seeking news on the situation. It was said that Yusuf suffered serious multiple injuries as a result of a crash during the power-bike racing.
He was hospitalized immediately and doctors did everything to help him survive the most difficult first hours after the accident. However, the young man was in a coma for a long time. When he eventually regain consciousness, his doctors discovered new injuries to his body, one of such was a fractured arm, which they did not notice at first and gave it their attention only when conscious Yusuf gave them a sign that he needed additional help. After some very intense surgeries, Yusuf showed signs recovery. It’s said that the Cedarcrest Hospital where the President’s son was brought immediately after the crash did an incredible job incredible and proved to be a healthcare institution of a very high quality. For a while after Yusuf Buhari’s accident, Nigeria became united in the prayers for the President’s son.

Zahra is the daughter of Emir of Bichi, Nasir Bayero and grand daughter of late popular Kano Emir Ado Bayero who spent 51 years on the throne.
She was born in 2002 and she get her primary and secondary education for Kano state
She studied in Surrey University were she studied Architecture and were she also met her future husband, Yusuf.
Marriage
Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari and Zahra Nasir Bayero finally got married in Bichi Kano State on Friday, 20th August, 2021. Yusuf and Zahra tied the knot for a pride prize of N500,000 [about $1,000]. Communications Minister Isa Ali Pantami joined the couple.
