Tiwa Savage, the award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, has buried her dad in grand style — a few weeks after he breathed his last.
The musician father’s funeral kickstarted on Thursday with a Christian wake held in the Surulere axis of Lagos state.
In a terse post via her Instagram page, the singer had written: “Day 1 of my daddy’s burial services, tomorrow we give him the best send-off ever. Rest in peace.”
