WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook have all gone down in what appeared to be another major global outage.
According to data on Downdetector, the three social media platforms – owned by Mark Zuckerberg — completely stopped working shortly before 5 pm on Friday, leaving millions of users worried.
The outages began to trend on Twitter as a plethora of users visited the microblogging platform to complain that they are seeing error messages on all three services across iOS applications as well as on the web.
Checks by TSB NEWS also showed that WhatsApp was not loading while a note reading “Sorry, something went wrong” was displayed during attempts to access Facebook and Instagram.
