UPDATED: Davido receives over N53m in one hour, after asking colleagues for N1m

Nigerian singing sensation, Davido has become a trending topic on social media as of this moment over the millions of Naira he’s making after he randomly asked his “friends” to send him N1m each.

Hours ago, the singer took to his official Instagram page to say that for most of his life, he has been the one uplifting others and now, he wants others to reciprocate. He then specifically asked his friends to each send him N1m.

As he called them out one by one, the singer later uploaded a bank account number for people to send money into and so far, he’s gotten a whopping N33m and counting.

He took to his IG page moments ago to give the update.

A member of the House of Representatives, representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in Oyo State, Akin Alabi; businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-money, were among those who sent money to Davido.

Entertainers such as Mr Eazy, Teni the Entertainer, Chike, Adekunle Gold, Perruzi, Ikorodu Bois, amongst others also credited the singer’s account. He has received over N53 million in cash transfers in less than one hour after asking colleagues for N1 million.
